Data shared with AI providers

Cook My Fridge uses artificial intelligence to recognise products and dishes from photos, count calories and suggest recipes. To do that the app shares some data with third-party model providers. This page explains exactly what is shared and with whom.

Who receives the data

The artificial intelligence providers the Service works with:

• OpenRouter
• OpenAI
• Google

The list may change. The current list is always published on this page.

What is shared

• photos of products and finished dishes taken in the app;
• the list of products in the User’s fridge;
• the User’s text requests and microphone audio in voice mode;
• the selected eating mode and excluded products, so that suggestions take them into account.

What is not shared

• your email address;
• your name or any other information that identifies you;
• purchase, payment and subscription information;
• your full calorie diary and recipe history — only the current request is sent.

How the materials are used

User materials are not used to train artificial intelligence models, are not sold and are not used for advertising. Providers process them only to return an answer to the app’s request.

Photos are stored on the User’s device. They reach the servers only for the duration of a request and are not retained afterwards.

Consent

Sharing data with model providers is required for recognition and recipe selection to work. Consent is given when the User first uses these features.

Consent can be withdrawn by no longer using the recognition features or by deleting the app. The rest of the app keeps working.
